The internet is a powerful tool for students BUT it needs to be used carefully and with discretion.

Never be tempted to cheat– no matter how desperate you are. The exam boards are not dim– they will catch you. It can also have very serious consequences for the school and for your classmates.
The web seems like an easy and quick source of information but it is not always reliable. Examiners are always amused when lots of work has the same errors or deliberate lies that students have copied from a web page; the students are less entertained when they get their grades. Check your facts carefully with other sources.
